Field Geophysical Technician

As a Field Geophysical Technician you can expect to work in emerging mineral exploration areas throughout North America and occasionally overseas as well. This is a great opportunity to travel, work and see many different and often remote parts of Canada and the World.


The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the geophysical data aspects of airborne magnetic survey operations. This involves setup and maintenance of geophysical base station and data processing equipment, routine processing of data using Geosoft and quality control analysis of the data. You will interact with our clients, the flight crew and head office to ensure that the survey is of the highest possible quality and is completed in a timely manner.


Previous experience is an asset, but we will train persons with the appropriate technical background. Such background must include strong computer skills. Knowledge of geophysical methods and experience with Geosoft is highly desirable. A valid drivers license, passport and the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. is mandatory.


Our salary range is $50,000 / year and up depending on experience and skill set. A comprehensive benefits package is available after 3 months.
